Here is a creative way to use the
plaster molds of the Cub Scout ranks. This pack used them on their pack
rank Doodle. The three dimensional effect of these molds is lost in the
photo, but does look real nice at the pack meeting. |

This is what the crossover bridge
looks like if you follow the directions found in the Cub Scout Leader
How To Book. It is made from a sheet of plywood and collapses. A good
feature for those of us who do not have a lot of storage space.
The Cubmaster of Pack 3383 Heart of America Council tells me that it
will be painted on one side with Cub Scout colors and Boy Scout colors
for the Webelos crossover. The other side will be painted with Tiger Cub
and Cub Scout colors for the often forgotten Tiger Cub crossover.
Although it looks small, this bridge is strong enough to hold an
adult. |

Wood Grain Contact paper, Cardboard
Tubes, red crepe paper, a light source and some imagination and we have
the makings of a campfire. |

Note the blue blocks on the top of
this advancement prop. They are removable and each has a rank or arrow
point patch attached. |
