Glyco-Nutrients

Glycobiology is a newly emerging field in the scientific community that is studying the significance of saccharides in glycoproteins. Glycoproteins are crucial in cellular communication in our bodies. There are known to be 8 monosaccharides necessary for the production of these glycoproteins. We currently only consume 2 of these 8 saccharides in our modern diet (glucose and galactose).

This means that our bodies must synthesize, through a back-up system, the missing 6 saccharides in order to allow our cells to produce the necessary glycoproteins that allow our cells to communicate with one another. Many problems can occur when our bodies are forced to use the "back-up system".

The process by which the body synthesizes these saccharides takes many enzymatic conversions, which takes time, energy, and can break down at any point. If one cell intends to communicate to another cell than it is a *F*R*I*E*N*D*, yet the molecular structure says that it is a *F*I*E*N*D* due to an imperfect conversion that resulted in a missing "link", that cell will be destroyed, although it is a perfectly healthy and normal cell. This improper cellular communication can result in a variety of illnesses, such as auto-immune diseases.

Now, for the first time ever, we are able to supplement our diets with these much needed saccharides. If you would like to learn about these products, please e-mail me at the address below and I will be happy to provide you with more information.
