Tonight we honor Webelos Scout ___________________ in achieving the Arrow of Light rank.

The Arrow of Light rank is the highest rank that can be achieved in Cub Scouting. The arrow signifies his rank, the rays above the arrow, seven in number, represent the seven days of the week that a scout must be true.

Let us now look at the arrow. The point points to the right direction to go in life. The shape, round, signifying that the scout spirit is a never ending spirit. Length, long and straight, signifies that a boy must be straight and honest with himself and others, and that this is sometimes a difficult and long journey. The feathers, three, represent the guides that help you through your journey in life and scouting.

2) Parents

3) Self

It takes all three to put the arrow on target.
