OPENING - REPAIR A CUB SCOUT A disheveled Cub Scout stands in front of the group. His hair is messed up, his face is dirty, the tail of his shirt is pulled out in a messy way. He has a pronounced frown on his face and he stands all slouched over. The Den Leader or Den Chief comes and stands beside him and says the following: "This Cub Scout is in need of repair and I think we have just the tools to do the job." A Cub Scout repairman picks up a hammer with a sign attached which says 'Do My Best'. The Cub Scout pretends to hammer on the boy. The disheveled Cub Scout tucks in his shirt and stands a little straighter. Another Cub Scout repairman picks up a screwdriver with a sign attached which says 'Do my Duty'. This repairman pretends to work on the other Cub Scout. Now the Cub Scout combs his hair and stands a little straighter. A third Cub Scout repairman picks up pliers with a sign attached that says 'God and Country'. After being worked on by his friend with the pliers, the Cub Scout stands at attention and salutes the flag. The next Cub Scout repairman uses a saw which is labored 'Help other People'.
